This page  is from a Japanese magazine "Bikers Station" n. 172 January 2002, and shows Tuneto Katayama's Motobi 250 and Mr.Motohashi 's Motobi 125 Imperiale special during the 25 thTime Tunnel 2002 race  in Tsukuba, Japan.


lato sx.JPG (38781 byte) This is a special Motobi-Zanzani 125 Imperiale DS built for Mr.T.Motohashi. The engine is equipped with a 27mm Dell'Orto SS1, electronic ignition, titanium valve and retainer .The front brake is a 180mm Fontana 4 leading-shoes, the forks are Ceriani replica, rear shocks are Works Performance and tyres are Avon with Sanremo rims.
pa080049.jpg (51891 byte) Mr. Motohashi this year competed, with his Motobi-Zanzani 125 Imperiale, in the "Time Tunnel"  race at the Tsukuba circuit, Japan. Mr. Motohashi enjoyed very much his race .

Mr.Tuneto and Primo Zanzani

Some pictures of  the 250cc "Motobi-Bat motorcycle"  prepared by  Tuneto Katayama. This motorcycle won the 1998  "Time Tunnel" edition ,  a classic race in Japan.   Mr. Katayama visited our workshop in 1997 and in September 2000.

These pictures  are from the  24th Time Tunnel 2000 at  Tsukuba Circuit in Japan. The Motobi 250 prepared by Tuneto Katayama finished in  2nd  place.

Some pictures from  the States show some original   Motobi 6 Tiranti   engine (1)  togheter with an original 1962 racing frame, Ceriani  forks, Oldani drum brake(2).
